Margaret von Kaenel is exhibiting in Salon Chamonix 2019 in Chamonix, France April 18th through April 21st. While there was no designated theme this year, the host – artist Pascal Amblard shared many photographs and artwork from this alpine region. Margaret’s inspiration came from artwork by Besenval and Parrish as well as the magnificence of the Mont Blanc. The work is titled Crystal Hunter.
The Salon Forever is a gathering of some of the top international artists and decorative painters. It is an exciting and unique Art exhibition of masters from 21 different countries who exhibit their work, teach master classes, discuss old and new techniques, products and information of this genre. Salon Forever is a way for some of the most unique age-old traditions, withing a field of many styles of art, to be shared among one another and ultimately passed on to participants, students and future generations. The opportunity to participate enhances and extends the level of communication between serious and committed artisans, master-craftsmen, painters and interior designers.
Salon Forever is also a way for the public to experience the high quality of work exhibited and to meet real masters of their craft. Ongoing demonstrations and lectures allow visitors and participants to view paintings specifically created for this event. During the exhibition one will see: Master classes taught by top Salon artists, Exhibition panels by artists from 21 countries; Live painting demonstrations by all participating artists; and the painting progress of a group mural painted by members of Salon.
Next year’s Salon Forever will be in Shanghai, China.
